About Nightflower Media Co.
Formed in 2023, Nightflower Media is a storytelling company with a collective mission of finding our way back: reconnecting with the bigger picture, and inspiring real, positive action for the betterment of our planet, our fellow humans, and all other forms of life.Our work comes from our hearts. We take tremendous pride in crafting stories, composing beautiful images and scenes that feel like lived-in moments, building meaningful relationships, asking the important questions, and pausing, taking a breath, and looking closely.
Our team reflects many years of experience in documentary and narrative film production, having worked with companies such as National Geographic, PBS, Grizzly Creek Films, Netflix, and many others.
We are based in the United States & Ireland and have the capacity to produce work in both US and EU markets.
Our Founders
Rosie Feerick
Rosie Feerick is an Emmy-nominated director and producer based in Ireland. For the last 4 years, she has served as the Associate Producer for Florentine Films, Ken Burns’ documentary company. She played a key role in the development and production of his six-part PBS/BBC docu-series The American Revolution. Rosie has experience in both directing and story producing, with extensive knowledge of archival research and a particular interest in projects related to people’s connection to land, wildlife, and local history.

Peter Ackerman
Peter Ackerman is a director and producer working in Maine and New York City. He is passionate about advocating for wildlife conservation, scientific exploration, and environmental justice. Some of the companies he has worked with include PBS Nature, National Geographic, OceanX, Little Monster Films, Our Time Projects, Netflix, and HBO Documentaries.
